What do I need to file my nomination paperwork?

The nomination must be completed in full and filed in person by the candidate or an agent of the candidate and include:

  1. Identification suitable to the Clerk
  2. Nomination Paper – Form 1
  3. Endorsement signatures from 25 people who are eligible to vote in the municipality -Endorsement Signatures -Form 2
  4. Application filing fee
  5. Consent to Release Personal Information
  6. Declaration and Policy on the Proper Use of the Voters’ List.

The Nomination Paper (Form 1) and Endorsement Signatures (Form 2) must have original signatures.

The Application filing fee is payable in cash, debit, certified cheque or money order in the amount of:

  • $200.00 for Mayor
  • $100.00 for any other office
