All campaign financial statements are due no later than 2 PM on Tuesday, March 30, 2027, in accordance with section 88.30 of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996.

Candidates who filed a Notice of Extension of Campaign Period (Form 6) are required to submit a supplementary financial statement reflecting their total campaign no later than 2 PM on Friday, September 24, 2027 (s.88.30).

Grace Period

Candidates who have not filed their financial statements by the applicable deadline may file within 30 days if they pay a $500 late filing fee to the municipality by 2 PM on Thursday, April 29, 2027 (initial statement) or Monday, October 25, 2027 (supplementary statement), in accordance with sections 88.23(9) and 88.27(6).

Candidates who fail to file by the end of the applicable 30-day grace period, and who have not applied to the Superior Court of Justice for an extension prior to the deadline (s.88.23(6)), are subject to the penalties set out in the Municipal Elections Act, 1996.
